FAIS Ombud Client Care Internships (Office Admin Graduates)

The FAIS Ombud seeks to appoint Graduate Trainees as part of the Graduate Recruitment Programme. This is a structured programme specifically designed to produce a pipeline of ready trainee entrants to the labour market The period of the programme is twelve (12) months.

Roll out of the Programme

Recommended candidates will be given an chance to examine below a dedicated mentor. The Graduate will be assigned to the Client Care Department and uncovered to a range of competency-based training.

Key Performance Areas

Register new complaints.
Assess whether a grievance falls within jurisdiction in phrases of the FAIS Act or the
Assist and guide complainants in whether or not their complaint falls inside the jurisdiction of the
Extract the essence of the complaint from handy statistics furnished and request extra information where required.
Refer complaints that do not fall within the jurisdiction of the FAIS Act and FSOS Act to different applicable entities.
Liaise with complainants and financial provider providers

Requirements

South African citizen with a valid South African Identity document.
Diploma or Degree (NQF 6/7) in: Office Administration
Passion for public service and an interest/desire to work in the Financial Sector.
Strong tutorial background.
Must be in a position to work in a worrying environment, willing to research and work extra hours.
Energetic, self-driven and deadline-driven.
Must be laptop literate.
