Internship Overview

UNFPA is searching for the offerings of accurately certified interns to guide Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and HIV, Gender and Adolescent and Youth programmes as properly as the Operations portfolios.

Responsibilities

Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and HIV, Gender and Adolescent and Youth,Provide assist in planning and coordination of inter-agency forums, stakeholder meetings, forums, NCF, etc.
Assist with compiling history documentation for programme summaries, briefing notes, speakme points, thought files and other conversation materials as necessary

Support integration of content material and platforms for internal communications, in collaboration with other colleagues from both regional and country levels.
Assist in coordination of SRHR and HIV, Gender and Adolescents and early life work plans, consisting of potential constructing workshops, training, and logistics arrangements for participation in a range of boards as directed by using programme officers.

Monitoring and assist of SRHR and HIV, Gender and Adolescents and formative years endeavor implementation.
Assist with compiling background documentation for programme summaries, briefing notes, talking points, concept files and different communication materials as necessary

Support integration of content and platforms for interior communications, in collaboration with different colleagues from both regional and united states of america levels.
Support different things to do in line with the portfolio the Intern will be aiding at any given factor and time.
Operations and Administration

Support the Country Office with VAT management/recoveries
Support generally in reveal and analyses designated expenditures, test fund availability and communicate with the respective managers

Support in education of Annual Work Plans and Budgetary adjustments in QUANTUM Plus .
Support in preparing donor financial reports.
Prepare documentation and liaise with the finance team for payments, together with monitoring and follow-up of great processes.

Educational Requirements

Have lately graduated with a university degree, and if selected, need to begin the internship within one-year of graduation;
Or Be enrolled in a first college degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent) and have done one full tutorial year;
Or Be enrolled in a postgraduate diploma programme (such as master’s programme or higher);
Or Be enrolled in a postgraduate expert trainee programme and undertake the internship as phase of this programme.

Other eligibility Requirements

Demonstrate interest in the field of development;
Demonstrate written and spoken skillability in at least one of the working languages of the United Nations (English)
Demonstrate potential to adapt to new environments and to set up and maintain good working members of the family with persons of extraordinary cultural backgrounds.
