Process for Student to be eligible to apply for the Absa Student Loan:

1. Apply for a Qualification at Khano Training Institute.
2. Upon meeting the minimum requirement and receiving conditional Acceptance letter, Pay the Registration Fee of R500 to the Institution.
3. Upon receipt of Registration Fee, Khano Training Institute will provide Student with Acceptance Letter and Student Number.

Then the following documents will need to be sent to Mr Maimela at Absa by the Student or Parent/Guardian/Person Responsible for Account:

• A valid South African ID document or Smart card of parent/guardian/person responsible for tuition fees.
• Proof of residential address such as a municipal rates bill for parent/guardian/person responsible for account.
• Most recent consecutive 3 months’ payslips or bank statements for parent/guardian/person responsible for account.
• Proof of registration with Acceptance Letter for Qualification applied for from Institution.
• Proof of qualification costs for the year of study (invoice/statements from Institution) for tuition, accommodation for full-time, textbooks & Study-related technological devices.
