Tasks and Obligations

Inventory Store Management To encourage accessibility and a safe working environment, managers create and maintain a well-organized storeroom.

Create, implement, and train SOPs for the team.

Sort items into categories that are important, useful, and often utilized.
Ensure adherence to the minimum and maximum stock thresholds.
Maintain an adequate supply of engineering supplies on hand.
Plan and supervise regular stock takes in accordance with the stock take policy to ensure that records and actuals are reconciled.
Conduct regular audits and cross-checks to ensure that the system, bin cards, and actual stock levels on the floor balance.
Every day, do spot checks to ensure that the system and actual stock level

 

Operations of the Store

When ordering, receiving, issuing, and discarding store merchandise, store managers ensure that SOP is adhered to.
The stores manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the engineering store to maintain a safe and orderly environment.

Create and maintain procedures for handling and storing engineering materials.

Check for compliance with SHEQ
To increase store efficiency, procedures should be continually improved.
Maintain a high level of hygiene.

Being a leader
Ensure adherence to the RCL code of ethics and behavior. Any non-compliance should be reported and/or escalated.

Administration of Data and Information
Ensure that team members accurately and consistently enter data into the information system to provide access to reliable data and reporting for trend analysis and decision-making.
Give management teams the relevant information they need to make wise business choices.

Regularly create and distribute reports on inventory levels and store performance.
As requested by management, prepare and provide monthly inventory reports.

Take ownership and responsibility for tasks and activities, demonstrate strong self-management in terms of planning and prioritizing, and follow through on your own commitments to ensure that the quality and productivity standards of your work are consistently and accurately maintained.

Notify the proper parties, outline the potential repercussions, and provide a workable solution if assignments or deadlines are missed.

Manage and convey the expectations of clients and coworkers.

Maintain a fundamental awareness of the employee relations environment and ensure that corrective action is taken as required in compliance with relevant laws and company rules.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and oversee and develop retail staff.

Promote a cooperative and effective work environment.
Address and resolve any issues that arise with clients or staff.

Ad hoc/Other manage

Ensure that any risks connected to the shop identified by internal audit are addressed.

 

Experience and qualifications required

a suitable postsecondary degree.
five to seven years of experience managing a shop or inventory, at the very least.

a minimum of five years of proven management experience.
knowledge of inventory management software.
advanced Excel training.
