Overview

Isithimela Facilities Services, a cleaning and maintenance company that is a subsidiary of Strategic Partners Group, is searching for a qualified high-rise cleaner.

The successful incumbent should ideally have experience with commercial and industrial cleaning.

It is not possible to compromise on the minimum qualifications and competencies.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform night shift cleaning for high-rise buildings.
For both low-rise and high-rise buildings, wash and clean the windows on the inside and outside.

Help maintain, assemble, and store high-rise tools and equipment while adhering to safety regulations.
Finish the job at hand safely and on time.
Continue to uphold the company’s high standards.
Make that the equipment is in compliance with the applicable maintenance calibration/load testing dates and standards.
Examine safety equipment, such as ladders and harnesses.
Perform pre-checks and inspections for working at heights.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 (Matric) or its equivalent is required.
A relevant qualification for working at heights is necessary.

It would be beneficial to have a current driver’s license and three years of driving experience.
knowledge about the dangers of operating at heights.
familiarity in using a portable scaffold.
understanding of fall arrest specifications, such as safety lines and anchor points.
Knowledge and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills.
